Windows 7 Dial-Up Configuration

To create a new Dial-Up Connection in Windows 7, follow the steps below:

Click on the Network Connection icon in the bottom-right hand corner of the task bar menu (next to
the system clock) 


 
 

 

Click Open Network and Sharing Center at the bottom of the Network Connection window
 


Click Set up a new connection or network in the Network and Sharing Center
 

 

Select Connect using a dial-up modem
 



On the Type the information from your Internet service provider (ISP) screen, enter the
local Dial-up phone number. In the User name field, type your full TCQ email. In the Password field, type the password for the TCQ user name you specified. In the Connection name field, type in a name you wish to give your
connection.
 

Allow other people to use this connection: If you have other Windows user accounts on this
computer, and you intend for them to be able to use this dial up connection, check the box.
Otherwise, leave it unchecked.

To reconnect to this dial-up connection in the future, click the Network Connection icon in the
bottom-right hand corner of the task bar menu, click TCQ Internet Dial-up Connection, and then click
the connection button.
